Art is a right, not a privilege. Here's when NYC museums agree

With the cost of NYC's best art museums rising (the MoMA is $20!), art and culture are becoming less and less accessible to us poor plebeians. A few museums understand that viewing art & history is a right, not a privilege. The Met and the American Museum of Natural History have a suggested admission price but you can give a small donation and they will let you in, just ignore the eye-rolling. Other museums agree and offer teeny-tiny windows of opportunity where you can exercise your right for free: Museum Free Hours.
