The ESB lights get more and more creative every year, and honor more holidays and occasions then we even know exist! Between December 23 - 28, the building will have an unusual display - a split lighting scheme in honor of both Christmas and Chanukah. Two sides of the building will be be red and green for Christmas and the 2 other sides will be blue and white, traditional colors for Jewish holidays such as Chanukah.You can always find out what the special occasion is by looking at the Empire State Building's colors site.
