A new book by Clifford W. Zink traces the 200 hundred year history of the great industrial family, the Roeblings, without whom the world would have been deprived on one of the most beautiful, and innovative architectural wonders of modern times -- the Brooklyn Bridge.
The author will be launching his book The Roebling Legacy on Tuesday, November 29, 7pm at the Powerhouse Arena in DUMBO, the neighborhood where the Brooklyn Bridge was born. Extra special bonus: Kriss Roebling (of the Roeblings) will be there to discuss the family's rich history.
