When walking in New York, don't forget to look up!

Sometimes we forget that the most beautiful sites in New York soar way above our heads. Stop, look up and name that building!

New York Buildings and Architecture guide is a great website to help you tell the difference between beaux-arts, art deco, neo-classical, federal and post-modern NY buildings. It also has the historical info about the who, what, when, where and why. And occasionally a dramatic stories as well -- for example, the race to be the tallest building in the world. Who held the title first? And for how long? It's not the building you think it is.
Be careful though. Never, ever stop to look up in the middle of a busy sidewalk. Or you might end up in Trinity Graveyard.
