Food carts are in! Check the Vendy Awards for best food carts in the city and Street Meat Palooza for best of the Midtown area food carts. Vegans fear no more- New York has caught on. Smart, savvy website Serious Eats. has compiled a list of Where to Eat Vegan in New York.
And if you haven't already sussed it out, Brooklyn is where the REALLY GREAT food is. L Magazine focused on its favorite borough for the Brooklyn Restaurant Awards in September of 2011 and the local Brooklyn Paper in November also came up with a list of Brooklyn’s 30 best meals, mainly under $10.
